STUDIO
Ritual is located in a historic theater building in downtown San Diego. It has tall ceilings, marble, subway tile, ornate staircases, velvet-lined elevators, and great light. It’s a busy building in a bustling city center. The studio itself is intimate and tucked away on the 3rd floor. I offer privates, duets, and mat trios. I opened the space in June of 2017. Previously, I was located in Uptown Oakland and established Ritual Pilates in 2013.
In addition to the studio, I also teach lessons via Skype. My clients have also purchased Gratz for their home equipment and are all working on their own home collection.
PEOPLE
I found The Pilates Method 12 years ago. It’s changed everything about my body physically and more importantly how I move and feel. A search for being comfortable in my own skin is what drew me to The Method and it has served me well. I was first certified by Hope Petrine in Denver, CO, who was certified by Romana. In 2016, I completed The Work with Jay Grimes. My continued work with Karen Frischmann and Vintage Pilates keeps my body and my teaching evolving.
EQUIPMENT
Some of my Gratz is new and some is used and the quality is top notch in both; Gratz is robust and it's design is timeless. My search to work in a Gratz studio is what motivated me to buy my own.
The world of Pilates in Southern California is vast; my clients are aware of and depend on the authenticity Gratz offers.
