In the vibrant heart of Toulouse, the thriving capital of South West France, Jane fulfilled her lifelong dream by opening her own Pilates haven.
"Pilates with Jane" resides in a classical 19th-century red brick building adorned with high ceilings, exquisite parquet floors, intricate moldings, and graceful marble mantelpieces. These architectural elements combine to create an ambiance of tranquility, stability, and security. Since its inception in April 2022, the studio has been bustling with a diverse schedule, featuring Private & Duet sessions and Trio classes with top-notch equipment.
Jane's daily mission is to impart enduring transformations to her clients' bodies and lives, all within an environment that exudes comfort and warmth. Her studio draws clients seeking solace from stress, healing for injured or aching joints and backs, enhanced performance, restored balance, and an overall boost to their health and well-being.
Jane toured internationally as a professional Trapeze Artist for 25 years. Pilates had become an essential component of maintaining her peak performance as an aerial artist. Consequently, obtaining a Romana’s Pilates certification and becoming a dedicated teacher, committed to helping others maximize their physical potential, was a natural progression when the opportunity arose. Her years of performing in occasionally extreme conditions taught her the critical importance of safe, reliable, and trustworthy equipment.

THE PEOPLE - Jane Allan
In 2006, Jane began her journey with Romana’s Pilates in New York City, founded by Romana Kryzanowska, a direct disciple of Joseph Hubertus Pilates. Jane has been dedicated to teaching Romana’s Pilates ever since.
Jane has taught at various Parisian Pilates studios, worked with artists at Cirque de Soleil and Circus Schools, and were on the faculty at London's Romana’s Pilates Teacher Training Centre (Kinetic Pilates). Her expertise also benefited businesses like Louis Vuitton, BHV Marais, Institut Géographique National, and Météo France.
Through ongoing Continuing Education, she stays current with Romana’s Pilates, and her commitment remains focused on improving lives within her community.
