Pilates Corps in Scottsdale, Arizona opened three and half years ago and is one of only a handful of studios in the Phoenix Valley that teaches the true and original method of Pilates as taught by Romana Kryzanowska. This studio is exclusively furnished with Gratz equipment and only works with the best instructors - Beth Bliss, Pratibha Noggle, and Pamela More.

PEOPLE

Katie's story started in 2001 in Chicago where she went to a Pilates class at a local gym and fell in love with it. She began researching Pilates and learned of Romana Kryzanowska and the authentic method. Katie immediately began taking private sessions and group mat classes in Evanston. She then received her certification in February of 2003 and worked in Chicago for a year before moving to Las Vegas. Following the birth of her daughter, she began to teach at a high profile physical therapy office and a local "classical" Pilates studio. She had tried various equipment in different studios but when it came to get her own she had to have Gratz, a Gratz Instant Half Cadillac conversion. This purchased opened the door to more Gratz equipment when later moving to Scottsdale, a move that would ultimately draw the nicest family of Pilates clientele that she could ask for. 

EQUIPMENT

Katie believes that Gratz equipment is without a doubt the best equipment there is. Instructors ask to teach at Pilates Corps simply because of the equipment, and new clients continue to come to Pilates Corps for the same reason. Having worked on almost every other brand of Pilates' equipment at one point or another, she understands and makes certain her clients understand that the craftsmanship and durability of Gratz is unparalleled.
