ABOUT
The Contour Mat seamlessly combines the benefits of both a barrel and a traditional mat. On one end, a gently curved hump has been carefully designed to decrease the neck and shoulder pressure caused by certain mat exercises. It also allows for the sturdy wooden handle bars to be positioned in a slightly more elevated position than on a traditional mat, further reducing strain on shoulder joints while still providing the stability necessary to maintain proper form.
An advantageous apparatus for both beginners and advanced practitioners, Pilates professionals will especially appreciate how it allows exercises to transition effortlessly from one to the next. No matter your experience level, the Contour Mat will support you in your Pilates practice.
